Gowthama Buddha was born in North India around 2500 years ago.

His father, Suddhodhana, king of shakya a state in the kingdom of kosala , and his mother Maya.

Gowthama Buddha initially named as Siddhartha.

After his birth, some of the priests said that he would become a monarch, a buddha.

So his father tried to keep hi son in palace, wishing that his son cannot become a buddha, if he was not sent outside the palace.

At teenage he married yashodhara, who is a noble woman.

Up to his age 30, everything went smooth.

One day he deliberately went outside the palace want to know, how it will be outside the palace.

Not intimating to any one, went outside and faced some people, who are old and suffering with health issues and dead body.

He even doesn't know till now about all these.

He want to find out what is birth, old age, sickness and death and why every one suffer.

So he left his palace and went to search solution for all his questions.

After his search of 6 years he found enlightenment while meditating under a bodhi tree.

Bodhi tree is the symbol of nirwana of gowthama budda
