Bhagat Singh, a hero of the Indian Independence movement,

Bhagat Singh attended Dayanand Anglo Vedic High School, which was operated by Arya Samaj.

He is credited with the phrase "Inquilab Zindabad"

The meaning of the Slogan "Inquilab Zindabad is long live the revolution".This slogan became one of the rallying cries of the independence struggle and motivated the youth of India to participate in the freedom struggle.

For the sake of nation, Bhagat Singh ready to sacrifice his life.

The brutal attack on Lala Lajpat Rai by the British police, brought a total change in Bhagat Singh and decided to avenge Lala Lajpat Rai's death.

In December 1928, Bhagat singh an associate Shiv ram raj guru, fatally shot a 21 year old British police officer, John Saunders in Lahore,  Punjab, (present Lahore is in pakistan ) 

They believe James Scott, who was still on probation was responsible for the death of Lala Lajpath Rai. Scott was shot in a close range by Bhagat Singh.

Bhagat Singh was hanged at the age of 23.

He became popular hero after his death.
